AKA, help bandit design a thing to keep his TV cable in the position seen in the picture. Any ideas? I'm thinking maybe something attached to the small hole above the above seen in pic

Right thought but sadly I have no choice but to go custom.

Find one of those Erector sets, from childhood, take one of the metal bits, and bend it around possibly. I don't know if that will work, but it's worth a shot!

Then you might try to duplicate that design as best you can using some scrap metal, a vice, hammer and other implements of destruction and include the customizations you need. It might be easier to start with a universal one a modify it as necessary.

Just be sure to do it correctly. That tv cable is totally critical. Incorrect adjustments can burn up your transmission in no time.

I know the arm on the carb should give the correct geometry, the cable needs to be pulled (relatively) straight, and that the cable should be pulled out 3/8" at idle. Do I have everything correct? This tech is all new to me.

IF you have a welder, grinder, drill bits and dremel with metal cutting bits, just cut, fit and weld a piece of metal to your existing bracket in the area you need to mount the TV cable, then drill and shape a mounting hole for it with the drill bits and dremel. Then you can paint it up and it will look like a factory piece.
